ESP8266EX
Wi-Fi Chip
Description

Espressif ESP8266EX is a highly integrated Wi-Fi SoC solution that meets the constant needs of users in efficient power usage, compact design, and reliable performance in the IoT industry. With complete and autonomous Wi-Fi networking capabilities, ESP8266EX can operate either as a standalone application or as a slave to a host MCU. When ESP8266EX hosts the application, it boots directly from an external flash. The built-in high-speed cache helps to increase system performance and optimize system memory. Additionally, ESP8266EX can be applied to any microcontroller-based design as a Wi-Fi adapter through SPI/SDIO or UART interfaces. ESP8266EX integrates antenna switches, RF Balun, power amplifiers, low-noise amplifiers, filters, and power management modules. Its compact design minimizes the PCB size and requires minimal external circuitry.
